Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Roof and Solar Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our roofing and solar installation projects in Texas while creating a training program to assist other locations throughout the country. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and supervising installation teams, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and meet quality standards. As the Roof and Solar Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful implementation of our sustainable energy solutions. 

Responsibilities:

• Project Oversight:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of roofing and solar installation teams.
  • Ensure that projects are executed according to plans, specifications, and quality standards.

• Team Management:

• • Lead, train, and motivate installation teams to maximize productivity and quality of work.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate project goals, expectations, and safety guidelines.

• Quality Control:

• • Implement and enforce quality control measures throughout the installation process.
  • Conduct inspections to verify that work meets company standards and complies with relevant regulations.

• Safety Compliance:

• • Uphold and enforce safety protocols and regulations on job sites.
  • Conduct safety meetings and training sessions to promote a culture of safety among team members.

• Materials Management:

• • Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely delivery of materials to job sites.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent delays in project timelines.

• Problem Resolution:

• • Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the installation process.
  • Collaborate with other departments to find efficient and effective solutions.

• Documentation:

• • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including daily progress reports, safety records, and change orders.
  • Provide regular updates to project managers and other stakeholders.

• Training 

• • Create a training program to assist other locations understand how to enter the roofing category. 
  • Conduct field trainings with key personnel at each location. 

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in roofing and solar installation, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
• In-depth knowledge of roofing systems, solar technologies, and installation processes.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in construction.

• Relevant certifications in roofing or solar installation.
• Experience with project management tools and software.
• Understanding of electrical systems and their integration with solar installations.
