Franchise Sales Representative

Join Generator Supercenter and contribute to our growth by expanding our franchise network. As a Franchise Development Representative, you will play a pivotal role in our generator franchisor business, serving as the primary contact for all franchise leads and inquiries. Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing the franchise development process, evaluating potential franchisees, and facilitating the initial stages of franchise onboarding.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for franchise leads, promptly and professionally responding to inquiries and providing comprehensive information about our franchise opportunity.
  • Evaluate the level of interest, financial qualifications, and suitability of leads through various communication channels, including phone calls and emails.
  • Conduct thorough initial interviews and screenings to gather essential information about prospective franchisees, including their background, experience, and goals.
  • Maintain meticulous and up-to-date lead information and communication records in the CRM system.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, presentations, and discovery days for prospective franchisees, involving pertinent internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with the franchise development team to develop compelling sales materials, presentations, and proposals for potential franchisees.
  • Address inquiries, concerns, and objections from prospective franchisees, offering timely and accurate responses to facilitate their decision-making process.
  • Provide guidance and assistance to franchisees during the initial stages of onboarding, assisting with application forms, financial due diligence, and legal documentation.
  • Collaborate with the legal and finance teams to ensure the prompt and accurate preparation of franchise agreements, disclosure documents, and other necessary paperwork.
  • Facilitate the seamless transfer of information, documents, and fees between the franchisee and the organization.
  • Support franchisees during the transition process by offering guidance, resources, and connections to relevant internal departments.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with leads, prospective franchisees, and existing franchisees to nurture relationships and foster engagement.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and communications teams to develop targeted franchise development materials and campaigns.
 

Qualifications:

  • Three to five years of demonstrated experience in franchise development, sales, or a customer-facing role.
  • Strong sales and customer service skills, with the ability to establish rapport, influence decision-making, and successfully close deals.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities to effectively handle multiple leads and prioritize tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft
  • PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, franchisees, and external stakeholders.
 

Working Conditions:

  • This position is primarily office-based.
  • Occasional travel may be required to attend industry events, tradeshows, and franchise expos.
  • Irregular working hours may be necessary to accommodate different time zones and promptly follow up with leads.
 

Physical Demands:

  • The role primarily involves sedentary work in an office setting.
  • Occasional travel may require standing, walking, and moving around during industry events or franchise expos.
